Tuesday, July 27 M-36 went to work.

Our team of super gardeners traveled to the home of a senior citizen in Pinckney to do home and yard cleanup and maintenance. The project, organized by Rotarian Christine Hur, was in lieu of Rotary’s Day of Caring.

Our homeowner required cleaning of the house siding, the deck, tree trimming, and flower beds weeding and clean out, along with grass trimming. Our Rotarians came equipped:  rakes, trowels, string trimmer, wheel barrow, as well as a power washer, chain saw and a pickup truck for hauling branches and brush.

Siding and deck were cleaned, trees were trimmed with branches hauled away; flower beds were weeded and cleaned, grass was trimmed, and all within the time of an average meeting ☺.

Thank you team for a job well done, enabling our senior citizen to enjoy here lovely yard!  Big thank you to Rotarian Christine for arranging this work project – AND  the ice cream treats following at Cap’n Frosty.
